Process

The task that has been laid out for you is one of great length.  You will be working on your business plan for the next six weeks and your presentation must be ready to go by the end of the sixth week.  Knowing that you have no experience in writing a business plan, the class will be broken up into teams and each team will have to complete a number of tasks.  Each task is designed to accomplish the overall goal of writing the business plan.  The link below will provide you with the organizational structure of our amusement park corporation.

 

Corporation Organizational Structure

From the structure you can tell there is one president (Miss Martin,Mr. Warnock, or Mrs. Tobik), two vice-presidents (one male and one female from class chosen by the president), and five directors (chosen by the vice-presidents and president).  Together these eight people make the management team and the vice-presidents and the directors are the people who will be presenting to the board of investors.  The vice-presidents and president will determine who the directors are after the members of each team has been decided.  To determine what students will be on what team, you will read through each of the following teams and then write down your top three teams as well as the top five people you would most like to work with in class.  From that, teams will be decided.  Your president will try his/her best to make the teams from what you write down; however, ultimately teams will be determined by what is best for the class.  The following links will take you to each team's tasks.
