Course Description
The Transportation Technology course is a hands-on orientated investigation of land, sea, and air transportation. The students will construct a compressed-air powered vehicle using research of aerodynamic design and testing, a boat hull utilizing efficient hydrodynamic design and tank testing, and an airplane applying key principles. As in industry, the research and design process of sketching, drawing, prototyping, and constructing an accurate model will be followed. Careers in transportation will be explored.
